Barbara Blanden

Hi! I'm Barbara Blanden from Tecumseh, Michigan. My journey in this arena began in my early years with an insatiable curiosity about that which is not physical. It accelerated through the practice management seminars my husband, David, and I have taken to develop and enhance our Dental Office.

In the early 80s, we were involved with Quest Midwest which in turn led us to the Kendrick Mercer Company - an investment company that also focused on personal growth. When the founder sold KMC, he formed Life Mastery, a personal growth seminar company.

Through Life Mastery, we met Margaret and Steve Ruby and an interactive learning relationship evolved that continues to this day. As the Ruby's seminar series grew into Possibilities Vocational School, I continued to explore alternative avenues to support my growth by becoming a certified DiSC facilitator, a Reiki Master (as is my husband), and last summer, a certified teacher with Possibilities.

As a graduate of Alma College with a BA in English and Sociology, I continually find myself involved in business operations vs. that which I studied. We had a clothing store for 7 years and the past 12 years I've been the CEO of our Dental Office - responsible for corporate management and profitability. a real challenge!

Yet, serving others is one of my primary passions. One could say I've made a career out of volunteering, both locally and statewide, with a major focus on the United Way. Through this venue, I became very aware of the diverse needs of our universal community which enhanced my desire to be of service as a teacher and practitioner. It is so exciting and rewarding to serve others through these wonderful healing techniques at a level that is continuously being created through the sharing of our knowledge, our talents and, most important, our love.
